ECN Seminar Series: Rethinking Synapses – Exploring Synaptic Complexity and Diversity

Invalidenstrasse 42, Ostbau, Hörsaal 6 (room 2302)

Dear Berlin Neuroscience Community,

We have the pleasure of introducing a new student/post-doc-run seminar series, Rethinking Synapses: Exploring Synaptic Complexity and Diversity, funded by the ECN.

Over the coming months, we will be hosting a series of talks by excellent scientists, all focusing on key aspects of synaptic function and their implications for brain activity and behavior. You can find the full schedule in the attached flyer.

We are excited to kick off the series this Friday (11th Oct) at 14:00 during the Berlin Neuroscience Meeting at the GLS Campus with Prof. Guus Smit (VU Amsterdam) who will present his latest research on brain proteomics.

Following this, on Monday (14th Oct) at 13:00, Prof. Corette Wierenga (Radboud University Nijmegen) will give a lecture on the Coordination of inhibitory synapse formation via endocannabinoids and PKA signaling. Please find the details in the attachments.

Location: Invalidenstrasse 42, Ostbau, Hörsaal 6 (room 2302).

After the talk we will provide some snacks and drinks for a small get-together (until 14:30). There will be some time for individual meetings with the speaker, so please feel free to contact us to schedule a time for you via the following email: judit.ozsvar@charite.de

With best regards,
The Organizing Team
