Die Suche nach Engrammen in einem µStim-basierten Gedächtniskonsolidierungs-Paradigma
In diesem Projekt werden wir anhand einer bereits erfolgreich von uns eingesetzten Mikrostimulations-basierten Lernaufgabe (µStim) die System-Gedächtniskonsolidierung untersuchen. Wir konnten zeigen, dass die Bildung von Gedächtnis-Engrammen im Neokortex abhängig von Input aus dem medialen Temporallappen ist. Darauf basierend stellen wir die Hypothese auf, dass µStim-Lernen mit einem Gating von Top-Down-Inputs zur Schicht 1 des Kortex einhergeht. In den hier beantragten Experimenten werden wir die Evolution von kortikalen Engrammen in der gesamten kortikalen Säule während µStim mit Hilfe von Neuropixels-Elektrodenarrays, 2-Photonen-Bildgebung und chronisch implantierten Prismen verfolgen.
