Present – PhDs, Postdocs, and Associate PI in B05, A01, A02, A08, A09 and Z

The tech workshop led by Aline Reinsbach via Zoom, focused on creating professional and engaging video content to showcase participants’ projects and lab environments. The goal was to produce short videos between February and June 2025 for the SFB1315 YouTube channel, potentially with the support of additional filming equipment like external microphones.

The session covered smartphone video production essentials like camera capabilities, stabilization techniques, sound quality, and lighting. Participants learned about using third-party apps for better control, the importance of external microphones, and best practices for filming interviews and self-recordings. The session also addressed planning content for different platforms, borrowing equipment from HU, and the potential for future hands-on filming sessions.

We will be posting results of this work on the SFB’s smart figure gallery in 2025.
